I'm a single mother 3 very young children, My husband is lockup in prison has been for the last 15mths I live in LeesvilleLouisiana which is home to Ft Polk Military Base,my youngest child is 2years old and my oldest is 8 . I have no blood relatives living here since my Grandma died in 2004.She left me the house and nothing else we are living on food stamps and handouts, and to tell you the Truth feel that I can't go on like this anymore am behind on my electric bill and water bill, the children need clothes and I need a job.We have used up all the city's benefits and now we are desperate mom lives in San Antonio,tx but she can't help all the time and since she lives in a small apartment with her disabled husband going there would put a harder burden on her. Right now I need help with the utilities.please someone out help.

Hello, my name is Mario am a 61 year old Vietnam veteran receiving payments from the VA for my disability, I have two teenage children of my children lives with my ex wife the other with me.my son who lives with his mom has been diagnosed with a neurological disorder and is awaiting a decision from social security, he can hold a job and is afraid of going out in public,his mom is on disability SSI and receives about $ 461.00 a month rent is almost $600.00 a month My  present wife and I have been helping him pay his rent and utilities since 1998 when he was diagnosed. Since my daughter who lives with me turned 18 the VA removed her as a dependant therefore reducing my disability payments  My son cannot get assistance from local resources because he is not married and because social security has not yet made a decision on his Case,I have taken him to so many churches until we have exhausted there aid limit, We have been to the city of san antonio  help resources and they too tell he doesn't meet their elibility.We spoke to the attorney on his case and he has helped him from his own pocket and that was only on a one time basis, right now he owes $ 350.00 dollars on his electricity and CPS energy reps told me that his electricity would be cut off on Monday March 27 and gave me the same list we have already tried for help. I don't have any money to help him,what can I do,Please help me, anything is welcome payment should be made directly to CPSEnergy.Thank you I know there people out there that have been in the same situation maybe give me some advice. thanks to aidpage

I' a 61 year old vietnam vetearn that was rated 100% disbled by the va,up untill december that things have gotton out of hand due to an unexpected situation with another member of the family, our finances are in trouble and we are losing everything we have,the va won't help,and all the social services say I make too much to qualify for their assistance,tell me what I can do.
